How great it would be for each one of us that each time a problem arises or something gets in our way, we could have the solution immediately without having to worry or lose peace to reach an answer or solution that is effective for us.
If we all have a guide, teacher or counselor who will teach us absolutely all the things we want to know or understand, how to act on certain occasions, what answers to ask who asks us something, what decision to take when we are undecided, we could certainly live a more pleasant life and greater pleasure.

Nobody is born knowing all things...
At every stage of our life and no matter how old we are, there will always be a need to be guided. Since we are little, during our childhood, youth, adulthood and even in old age we can realize that we are really ignorant of many things.
Unfortunately we do not know all the things we would like, and for a lot of dedication and time of study and acquisition of knowledge that we have to know more things, there is the problem of lack of experience which plays a role against us.

A mentor.
It is extremely interesting that the term Mentor, according to its etymological origin comes from the greek Mēntōr, a character from the famous story of Homer's Odyssey. Mentor was the counselor of Telemachus.
Now, in any means that we are going to move, be it labor, artistic, sports or any other professional area in which we want to be successful, it will always be necessary to learn from others who know and perform agilely in those areas. , in that moment, the mentor enters to play a fundamental role.
A good mentor is one who has very good communication and interaction skills. The mentor is a person who guides in an understanding and prudent way to another in order that this advance and acquire the necessary wisdom to perform certain tasks. The mentor is the counselor who, with his experience and knowledge, helps step by step and very close to another to develop at each stage of his life, both professionally and in moral and values.
The essential characteristics of a good mentor are humility, tact, motivation, the desire to teach and to see others succeed.

The mentor has a very large influence on the mentee.
A parent is a mentor to their children, just as a teacher is to their students. And this is how the unique characteristics of each mentor will be transmitted to the receiver of the information, that is, to his disciple.
The main intention of the mentor will always be to motivate, inspire, forge the character of the apprentice and to impart the maturity that he possesses. In addition to exploring and developing your mentee's potential and correcting it, the mentor is also able to listen to the mentee, and has as a fundamental task to learn by himself how to use his ideas and how to develop his way of thinking.
We all need a Mentor and we all must be mentors.
Why do we need it?
Because there are simply things we do not know or know, and none of us want to waste time spending a lot of time making the same mistakes. A mentor is an open book that we can always access and that has already opened a path for us to travel without having to make an effort to rediscover what is already open.
And to conclude, the objective of the mentor is to reproduce other mentors, that is, to transform each apprentice into a more mentor, and in this way multiply and include as many people as possible saving effort.

I wonder how much mentoring will happen on Steemit. I see a lot of input is provided on how to blog and how to grow your influence. But not a lot of personal interaction on day to day living in the real world. How REAL are your interactions with other steemians?
