It made me teary-eyed thinking back to those first days of motherhood when I was so concerned for my new baby. It was good for me to remember those details again by writing about them.
Ironically, I also had difficulty breastfeeding my first child. I did not have support of family but I did have La Leche League. Margaret the wonderful woman that came to my house to help pull out of the pit they called "failure to thrive" is still a good friend today some 40 years later. We are in Master Gardeners together. Our lives have gone full circle and we now share the joys of gardening and our grandchildren.
I have to laugh you and I have so many similarities.
