I went out on the porch this morning and was delighted to see a rainbow. To me a rainbow is more than a light spectrum reflecting off the rain, it is a symbol of hope, that whatever I am worried about or am discouraged by I am reminded that I can persevere and to always have hope. It is a message and reminder of Gods love for all of us this holiday season and a beautiful source of spiritual nourishment. I have a permanent painful disability, my marriage ended in divorce= there are no happy fairy tale endings in my life but despite it all I am happy and grateful to be alive. So to all of you out there feeling down or coping with a set back just remember that the pain is just temporary and it will be o.k. Hug :)
