April 1-8, 2018 is the busiest week I probably will ever have the entire year! Never really thought I would make it through the week without collapsing or having hospitalized hahahaha... Wanna take a peek as to how busy I was??? Read on...

April 1, 2018 - Sunday
Yes! It's Easter Sunday but I was at school! I need to finish editing and made sure nothing is forgotten on the commencement program script. Considering that we have 5 batches of commencement exercise. What makes this graduation special is the fact that it will be the first for the university I am working with and one of the many first batches all over the Philippines. This year commence the first batch of Graduates of the New K to 12 Educational System of the Philippines. Read more...

April 2, 2018 - Monday Morning
3:20am I was wide awake! I need to prepare early because I need to be at the venue before 6:00am. The venue is about 16-18km away from our house and I will go there commuting. So with the things I need to bring I went out of the house around 4:20am and need to catch up with my colleague so we can hail a cab going to the venue.

The morning graduation schedule will offcially open the 3 days event of the week. They are the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) strand.

With over 900 students graduating from this strand we really have to start early if we want to finish the ceremony before noon. Because, yeah, we have another batch that will start at 12:30pm on the same day. :)

April 2, 2018 - Monday Afternoon
Another batch to march down the isle. This time its the Technical Vocational (TechVoc) Track particularly the strands on Home Economics, Industrial Arts and Information and Communication Technology.

This is the track where I can relate to because I am the coordinator of the ICT strand. This time I am happy to be joined in by my teachers during this batch.

The two of them is on their academic dress for the Information Technology Bachelors Degree.

Goldee is the students animation teacher while Jennel is their programming teacher. They are very happy to see their students finally graduating from Senior High School.

With 898 graduates for the 2nd batch we ended up at around 5:00pm already. We had taken our early dinner at the function hall of the venue then booked for a Grab Car where we plan to stay for the night. Me and my colleagues who happen to live far away from the venue decided to book a condo unit for the night since the following day we will still have batch 3 & 4 of graduation. That means another 6:00am assembly time for the morning schedule. To save time and effort renting near the city is more convenient for all of us.

Little did we know that the real adventure of the day is about to happen. All we thought the first two batch was the real highlight of the day but it was not. The driver of our grab car had informed us of the history of the condo we had just rented. Their were creepy stories going around about the place being haunted.

But since we want to see it for ourselves before we finally decide on what to do next, we decided to just went off and visited the place which actually really looks scary even with the other lights on around it. Creepy to say the least. We then rebooked the grab car we had rode on and went back our way, back to the city where we settle on a 3star hotel downtown about 2 blocks from our graduation venue. Whew! What a day it is! And please remember its still Monday of the week!

April 3, 2018 - Tuesday Morning
The third batch of graduation is about to happen, this time its the Accountancy, Business and Management strand to march. With about 800+ students graduating this time we had some cases of students collapsing during their baccalaureate mass.

These students are the ones excited enough of their graduation and decided not to take anything for breakfast.

Other than such incidents nohing much else had happened for the rest of the day until the afternoon batch. We had ended the day peacefully and positively since we made it through the 2nd day without glitches.

Right after the 2 batches for the Tuesday, we then decided to take some pictures. We are still amazed of how we had made it through the 2days and thankful at the same time because there was no untoward incident that had happened.

April 4, 2018 - Wednesday
This time its the turn of our Maritime students to march. Their batch graduation happenede at 3:00pm. It means then I have the morning to prepare for the script and all the needed documents for this batch. I literally spent my morning editing, printing, and filing then finally distribute them to the persons involve respectively.

This time their venue is at the school campus and there are 400+ graduates.

The committee on rehearsal will rehearse the Grade 11 honors for their own Recognition Day 2018. With one day of rehearsal no time was wasted and everyone is in action to prepare the honors of their event.

I pulled out of the rehearsal because I need to run to the other building to attend to a meeting and back to the office for double checking of the things I need to prepare for tomorrow.

April 6, 2018 - Friday

Today is the Recogniton Day. I need to prepare 240 Congratulations message printed in a paper to be placed on a folder as their props certificate.

our class picture

Can you now picture out how busy I was for the entire week? I did not include other stuff I did in between all of this. That is checking portfolios, making follow ups on my other students, creating grades and all other in between responsibilities. It was tiring but fun, it was worth all the effort poured in and definitely something that is worth sharing. I am currently still recuperating of my sore throat and hopefully my voice would be normal again soon.

Until now I am still in awe of how I made it through last week but one thing is for sure, I had done all things possible because of hardwork mixed with prayer. Last week, I did not just FLY HIGH, I SOARED HIGH!

It was really a stressful week you had, with the number of students and every other thing you narrated here. You must really be a hardworking person.

Had to work hard so the students could get the best graduation ceremony they can have.... It's special to them as well :)
