Yeah, the hackers thing. Outrageous. He is quite patently a master at the disinformation game. I didn't agree with the softfork but I wonder if that's how he actually sees it?

I didn't agree with the soft fork either, but I accepted it as what's done is done, what's next? When I saw Justin's post and how so many felt like it was a victory, because they did that, and he spoke, I wasn't impressed. I knew right away that March 6th date was just buying time for something. Nobody pushed to get things done sooner, nobody pushed to talk NOW. Instead they volunteered aggroed to hold a microphone. Right then and there, things could have deescalated and a deal could have been made instead of waiting. He outsmarted these folks. But now three other businesses are getting dragged though the mud in the form of exchanges. Poloniex asks for papers. They're legit and can't be making deals like that, especially in the USA. He must have taken it quite seriously and must have been offended to sacrifice so much, and also emotionally immature and socially stunted. I can't say for sure but I don't think he knows what he's doing. OR... we're being trolled and this is just one big publicity stunt.
We can never underestimate the thought that he could be absolutely trolling us. The exchange funds will be returned to them very quickly and users of said exchanges will lose nothing. The real world barely cars about crypto and chain attacks. I find the Polo quite suspicious. He owns the damn thing does he not?
When they were celebrating how stupid he was I fear they got it quite wrong
13 weeks powerdown though. Unless they fork, which is the plan, for three days, which is incredibly stupid. I'd prefer the old 100 and some odd weeks, with perks to hold in SAVINGS for three days, if one wanted to go that route.
I never liked Polo. They fucked me. I think he owns some.
Maybe he saw blocktrades playing a pivotal role, and thought if these folks can use an exchange, I can too.
When some were downvoting people who didn't agree, I lost a bit of confidence. It's all so fucking confusing though. Surreal even.
Yeah, no doubt the plan is to fork so they can funnel it out quickly.
I suspect he had a long history with exchanges and knew all along he could do this.
It's a crazy place, we have to hope that he doesn't run it into the ground. Although that would make no sense.
Dude seems to throw money around like he has an endless supply. 800 mil doesn't last long if you spend 3.5 mil on a dinner with Warren, then another 10 here, or whatever. It doesn't make sense to kill it. All those people quit. Maybe dude just didn't like Steemit Inc and wanted to fuck it over. Steemit blog post is all bullshit though. Promising more money for witnesses. More money for content producers. Without saying 'how', I don't listen to that shit. Fluff. Thinks we're bottom feeders who'd cheer for a raise? I don't want a fucking participation award.
It's like the bribe isn't it. You will all get more money!!!
He obviously just wants his vision for Steemit and fuck the rest of us but hopefully that doesn't mean destroying it
Dangling a carrot. Doesn't work, sorry.
