Saturday and that means beer!!
I love the weekends and what a selection of crazy beers I have to try tonight!! I was very excited to see that my local shop had a few new faces in so let's see if they are any good. Incidentally, this is a second attempt at posting as my first one just plain disappeared after I posted it!?! Anyone else had that?
So let's get stuck in. First up.
If you read my beer posts you will know I am a big fan on the design of cans and bottles and look at this beauty. Spacesuit, mystic 8 ball and some manner of tramp with their ass out!
This pours a beautifully hazy, amber red colour, big walloping gassy head too.
It's a proper rye, big and bold. Lots of toasty hops and a lingering slightly bitter finish. I like it a lot. I seem to be smacking my lips after each glug and saying aaah!
Excellent, it is with some reluctance I have to move on. But such is beer!!
A what!?! A salted caramel milk stout? I mean salted caramel is alright on cakes but in beer? Well, this makes me excited and a little scared. I mean, what if it is bogging!
It pours as black as night, smells lovely. Sweet with a hint of toffee. Now to see what the taste is like. Hmm, it's not bad, getting hints of caramel and milk chocolate. Not much of a finish considering the bad boy is 6%. All in all its not bad but not a huge amount to write home about.
Which means I can head over to, what for me is the main event. When I saw the next one up I got so excited I bought three just in case it was good. But is it?
Peacher Man! A peach and apricot witbier. I am so looking forward to this.
And it's awesome!! A classic cloudy witbier with hints of apricot and fruits. The fruitiness is enough to notice and subtle enough for the wheatiness of the beer to shine through too. I am a happy chap! Can you tell?
For me, this is definitely the winner out of three very different beers tonight. It has everything I am looking for. Toperoo. I would heartily recommend it.
Now I am a fully fledged son of a peacher man I must finish these and clean the streets of crime!!
Cheers everybody!!!
So the third was the best but I would think that going third gives that beer a decided advantage. You're a happy guy by nature but at the end of the third beer perhaps a tad happier!
You are right there. I often subconsciously save the best looking one till the end too. Will have to factor that in!!
So, if you are Billy Ray, you are the only one who could ever teach me about beer.
I shall consider it a challenge and a pleasure ;0)
the peacher man is raz after he shaved :D
peace raz hehe
It could be!! I have found a raz beer again for the weekend! :O)
I love how they can allways come up whith all these new can-designs!?
They must have some fine designers!!
Man, I want to be the son of a peacher man too!
It's a fine thing to be!! Cheers dude!
Another classic post by you. Are you done your vacay time now and back home for more localized family adventure-blogging times???
As usual your wording has me literally LOL in my living room.
I crafted my latest funny / food / Blue Collar Barry post tonite after you, I see your UV. Have a read, it is not long.
As a Canadastan person and how we love our Beavers as the national pet, 2 of your pints are from Beaver Town I see.
+1
Beavertown is becoming quite the popular brewery I think! Cheers mate. Yeah, I am all gone and in the busom if work and all that normal tosh. :0) I will be checking it out, I like to keep an eye on the Canadians as they say ;0)
Hahahahahahaha!!!!
Have a nice week dude, you will LOVE my Poloniex post I put out today about 3 hrs ago calling them out for sure then!
Edutainment with facts as I like to say. I remember your comments on my other Poloniex posts but this is my best yet by far.
Also noticed your comments in the TQ chat the last day or so, related, too.
Ah yeah! TQ! I totally didnt know you were in there as well!
YEah, I tend to stay quiet in there as I dont know half of the stuff they are talking about. ITs a bit over my head :O)
LOL, me too, there is a lot going on there.

@meesterboom I agree with you on the captivating 8ball design. Who would not spare a second look at "some manner of tramp with their ass out"?

It's nice to branch out, my normal beers Amy other time are surprisingly staid!! :0)
I'm not a big beer person ( not sure if I can admit that here...lol...) but wouldn't mind to volunteer to taste the CHEW CHEW beer... ;-P
It's well worth a taste!! I quite liked it toward the end. Buy them I like most beers toward the end :0)
Who doesn't....lol..???
You have a very good point!!
:D
LOL!!!!!
Sounds like I need to fly over the pond and join ya for a few brews mate!! That Peacher man looks absolutely delicious!!
What a fine night that would be, the memories might be a bit fuzzy the next morning right enough!! :0)
You're exactly right! A few of the high percentage brews and I start to feel it!
Oh definitely! As soon as you hit the fresh air, bang!!
Goin' down smooth @meesterboom ! Nice !
Smooth as silk!!
These beers are awesome! I've never seen any of these myself but definitely need to try them. The designs on the cans really make them stand out. Thanks for sharing and for the honest review :)
You are very welcome! I love trying to sniff out little known extravagantly designed ones!
Cheers to the weekend, @meesterboom. I'm currently over here drinking bud-light lime and shots of tequila and dreaming of a nice stout...
Man that sounds sweet. I do love a shot or two of a fine tequila!!!
Thx for the post! And did you drink russian bear?
I have done! Did you spot the baltika glass!!
Just pour some on the keyboard and press the post button. I'll have a cup ready on this end. Don't worry, I've done this before, I won't spill, that's alcohol abuse.
Hey, I think that will work!! Are you ready?

It worked. Worked perfectly. Worked like a charm.
but this isn't beer! It's urine!
It must be the transmigration interface. Are you using US English on your keys?
Lol, very entertaining article. And now I want to try these! Looks great :)
I totally recommend them!
Beware anything that claims to be beer that uses terms like caramel, milk, or salt to describe what's in the can!
I just put this post about losing blog posts when posting, thought would follow up your comment, it seems to be happening more frequently:
https://steemit.com/steemit/@wakeupsheeps/psa-take-caution-when-posting-sometimes-they-disappear
I know, these terms are usually just sales missense. But I fall for them every time thinking wow!!!
Oh my God that can..haahhaaaa!!! There really is a bare ass on it, that's awesome! Also a huge fan of designs. One day I will have my own office and it will look like a man cave, shelves of empty bottles and cans LOL!!
I want a man cave filled top to bottom with these funky cans!
You shall have one too, we shall both have one, I have set my intent out to the universe :)
Whooot, what a great story and nice looking beers.Nice beer post.
Why not doing one for the next BeerSaturday challengen to win some Steem Dollar?? Or join as a sponsor for a prize or.... just have a few more beers....
Hehe, I only found out about it this weekend. I might join the fun!
AHAHAHA! Peacher man! Hahahaha! Man, I really love when those craft breweries get ... crafty.
Wait, wait, wait. Hold your horse. Now pet it. Pet it real good. That's right, neigh. Why does Chew Chew's cover look familiar? Did you feature a beer with the same cover before? I feel that you've featured a similar looking one. As someone you speak to through a computer, all I can participate in is through the visual aspect, so as much as I want to comment on the taste, the cover will have to do.
Chew Chew is by Fallen Brewery who also did Dragonfly which I reviewed last week! I was so taken with the brewery that I bought another of their range. They have the same style just different text in each one :O)
DRAGONFLY! YES! That's why it looked familiar! Haha! Here I thought it was a unique design, but then I realize they were just using a template. I guess Fallen Brewery has ... fallen from the pedestal I set them on. YYYYYOOOOOOOOOWWWWWWW
Mmmmmmmmmm I LOVE fruity beers!
If we ever get together we can a fruity beer fest! hahahahaha
Awesome post man, been looking through some of ur posts and ur really good.
SteemON!
Hey thanks dude!
We would have a fruity exotic beer of a time man!
Keep on Steeming!
Thats right!

Oh man, these beauties are to die for, im sure they pack a punch with the taste buds and give them a work over
They are pretty awesome mate, thanks for stopping by!
Nice

I Love It 😁

OMG I really need some of that beer! Had to stay in tonight and look after my daughter so no beer for me today.
That last beer! Sounds perfect, exactly what I am craving right now! I have a Tripel waiting for me at home that I hope makes gets me the same way this Witbier got you!
Haha that GIF though :P Awesome stuff man! Good to see the content as always :) Let us stay consistent! Talk soon :)
Cheers mate, oh yes indeed
They are really cool. Now I have to search for them if they are available here. How are my Royal Enfield photo shoots.
I saw them, they are good :O)
teach me about beer @meesterboom :D
Every saturday I will do my best!
A weird design of the cans. Reminds me of Coca Cola in the eighties.
They are weird. But real funky! Almost enough to get me drinking coke again lol
I always figure, any beer you can't see through when held up to an incandescent... much like 20 year old motor oil from a Studebaker... is a good beer. Such discerning tastes, has I.
Also, @tangmo and others I follow are having this disappearing post difficulty. Not sure why. But drinking a great beer with a classic label would certainly help. Enough of them, and you can forget all about 'the lost post'. Then again, if the post is ABOUT the beer your drinking, that leads to a problem of conundrumish levels.
Oh no wait... What is is the beer that is causing the posts to go missing!?! Oh no, that puts a sinister slant on things!!
I like that way of judging a fine beer too :0)
