This weekend I have took a break from my usual work and made a visit to my parents and my sister. This was a weekend only spent with my family which reminds me of the words of Don Corleone from The Godfather which for long time has been rated as being the best movie in the enitre history
Since I have visited my sister, I have seen again my cat that I have left to stay with her and I was sorry to see that he got a little sick and lost some weight. It seems that cats started to mate and he got some fights with some other tom-cats unfortunately. I have talked with my sister about it and she told me that she will take him to a vet in order to see what is happening and if he can help him somehow. I was happy to see that my cat still recognizes me after three weeks (I guess) and he came to me to cuddle :D
Here is only one photo of him staying with his head on my hand and you can see that he was totally relaxed.
My parents were happy to see me again, we spent some time together skating on ice after two years. I used to skate a lot before, but when I got to university I have quit most of these activities. It was nice to see that I still remember how to move on ice, but unfortunately my body didn't supported sustained effort so I took a lot of breaks in order to recover :)
This is a photo of me and my father that my sister insisted to take, telling us how to stay. I am not good at being caught in a photo, but at least we can keep some memories together.
After that, at night we have seen some movies, we started with The AristoCats (I know, it is an old movie) but after this one, me and my father watched Fury. This second movie was a little more different, for those of you who have seen it, congrats for having the nerve to look at it to the end. It is a movie about the last fights form the WW2 so it is not a good choice for a romantic night!
My father enjoyed it especially because he has made the army on a tank and Fury was the name of the tank of the main characters. If you want to get a clear picture of what war means, then you can take a look at this movie, it will quickly make you understand why another war must be avoided with any price. I think I should write an article dedicated only to peace because this is one of the most important topics that can be written about.
In the end of the weekend, Sunday afternoon, we took a last meal in family and discussed about all kinds of topics. I didn't hesitated to bring into the discussion cryptocurremcies . My father know already a lot (for a newbie) about blockchain, coins - inflationary, uninflationary, fees, transaction speed and other things that I have told him before. I was surprised to see that he have done other research about it on his own, he has looked at price graphs on different coins, read articles and things like that. He is having some problems getting much information about cryptocurrencies because most of the articles online are only in English and he doesn't speak it almost at all.
At the discussion of the cryptocurrencies attended for the first time by now, my uncle too. Only to make an introduction to this, we are pretty close as a family and I see my uncle once a month I guess. Before we were seeing each other almost daily, because he and my father used to work together. He is a pretty nice and open minded guy but who refuses to accept that crptocurrencies are something real that could change the world. His words were something like this:
What happens when the man who owns Bitcoin will shot it down and run with the money?
There were so many misconceptions in only one question that I had to clear, to tell him that nobody owns Bitcoin, that he is almost impossible to shot down (even though it is arguably more centralized than other cryptocurrencies) and that nobody can run with the money. Then it was the question Who owns the Bitcoin? and I had to tell that somehow nobody owns it, and same time everybody involved in the ecosystem. Miners, mining pools, investors who own the coins and that they are not controlled by anybody, but that they represent an ideal of a free market. All of the information were a bit too much to take at a single time, but he somehow agreed that cryptocurrencies exist and they may mean something, but still believes that they can be dumped by any rich guy from the Wall Street. I tend to agree with him, that cryptocurrencies can still be pretty easy influenced by big investors who can play a lot with their prices because they are still young and there is a lot of volatility, but I am sure that cryptocurrencies are here to stay.
This was my weekend, since you have reached this line, I have to thank you for reading and also ask you how did you spent your weekend?
First of all yes Godfather is the greatest movie of all time and if you are a big fan just as I am, I am sure you have read Mario Puzos books..the movie Fury is wonderfully expressive and although it describes a reality we do not want to see it still has a great cinematographic and historic value to it..the picture look great there is nothing more beautiful then akwardly caught family picture, when somebody usually overzealous “sets up the scenario of the image”..the discussion were interesting and you should be proud that you have such an informed father ! All in all you had a successful weekend and I am sure your little cat just went through a perioud of adapting to the new environment and the new cats around the block! He is a winner and fyi cats are smarter then dogs ! He will always recognize you as his main owner! Blog was great & enjoyed reading every minute of it! Keep in touch!
Thanks so much and wow, great comment! You are an example for most of Steemians who comment here. I am glad that you liked the post, and I hope that my next posts will be better.
I wish you a great day and hope to read your next posts soon, they are really great!
I guess "You can feel like a man" now... :))
I seen and loved both movies.
My weekend was nothing special, just ordinary, but that's quite alright by me...kinda like "no news is good news" :))
See, I have recovered a bit of SP :D
Thanks for your reply, DC, it means a lot to me! My weekends are quite boring, this one was an exception.
And no, I never felt like a real man, guess I am to childish to ever be a man :))
Maybe you need to go out more, interact with real people... not just online people, then your weekends won't be all boring :)
Yes I see you recovered a bit of SP, hopefully in about 10 days you could get it up to 90%...:))
I don't want to let it increase that much, it would mean that I am not upvoting people enough, in the last month, I don't think it went up over 80%.
And about the weekends, yep, I really need some friends, but I just got used to my boring life :D
You shouldn't Upvote everything with 100%...that way you get to Upvote more, and keep your SP power up...
