Many couples may have thought of planning to make them together with two children soon after. But there is a need to think about how much difference between the two children should be after the next. Because experts claim, they found the connection of autism to children with this difference of time.
A group of researchers from the University of Columbia University of the United States studied the record of 7,371 children born in Finland from 1937 to 2005. These records were collected from the Finnish Principal Study of Autism. Apart from this, data is collected from the Finnish national database. Analyzing these data, it can be seen that after the birth of a single child, one year later, the risk of the next child's autism would increase by one and a half times in pregnancy. It is also risky to take too much time to get two children.
Because the study found that, after five years of difference in pregnancy, the next child's autism could increase by 30 percent. If the time difference is 10 years, then the danger is 40 percent. According to experts, taking a second child is better in the next two to five years after the birth of one child. They also said that this research report does not mean that the difference in time of pregnancy is responsible for autism. On the other hand, there is a link between autism and childhood with the difference of time.
They believe that it is possible to study more about autism by utilizing this information.
