We get asked all the time how we manage to do laundry off grid.
We're almost at the 5 year mark doing our laundry off grid. When people find out we live off grid, they usually have questions about how that works. What about Laundry? Our society is so tuned to just throw it in the washer and dryer not thinking of the energy uses this takes. Most of us might have grandmothers or great grandmothers who would recognize what you will see in this video.
Some may scoff at the little bit of extra work involved but the hard work keeps us healthy. Not to mention we haven't had an electric bill or water bill in over 5 years.
ENJOY THE VIDEO!

Thanks Craig! You have been a big help in getting my mind wrapped around Steemit. So thank you for all your work and videos! We are going to succeed on this platform and a big reason for that will be you!
This is such a great set up! Those cedar counter tops are beautiful! One of these days, I will do a new video showing our off grid laundry set up.
Yay! Will be looking out for it!
Tim is such an amazing carpenter!! He has some major skills and is such a blessing to your homestead. Your Laundry station is just beautiful.
Yep! he just keeps on building!
Great post. Keep them coming. My family is working toward moving off-grid and these stories really help. We are shooting for next year to have some land and make a transition. Thank Again!
I put the kids to work.
There you go!!
Been watching Zac and his family for a little over a year now i think. I have learned so much about living off grid..and most importantly, how to become self sufficient. I recommend to everyone here on steemit to check out their youtube channel for more videos until he can manage to more more of them here to steemit. as well as their patreon, facebook, and webpage, each forum has something different in content from time to time that you don't get to see on the other forums. This is a great family who is taking the time to share with us their lives. Upvote the content, resteem the stuff you think others would find helpful, and if possible promote it. Thank you Zac, and family for educating me on the lifestyle. I hope to see an update on the greenhouse and aquaponics in the future...
Thank you for those kind words. We really appreciate all the people who watch and we are excited about Steemit so far. I'll try to do something on the greenhouse coming up soon.
As always, enjoyed the video and Resteemed.
Appreciated! Thank you!

You're welcome! Thanks for watching!
Nice setup. I still need to get ours finished. I have the plunger which works well in a bucket. Still need one of those wringers though. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks for watching. We got our wringer on Amazon. They are not cheap but they are well made and will last a long while.
Love the information you present. You are living the dream of many :) Please keep them coming!

hey that's impressive. I am currently setting up a rain water colletor off my shed. following
Awesome idea
That is one top notch off grid laundry facility. I'm curious, do you do laundry there in winter too? Do you close it off and heat it somehow?
I love the laundry house set up!!! One of your older laundry videos saved me a lot of money. I was looking at buying one of the double galvanized tub setups (Over $300) until I saw y'all using the totes, I had not thought of that.
