Thank you for this. I use glass to store my water, but I see how clay is better.
How are you able to clean every 2-3 days?
My container holds water for a week or more, and I don’t want to empty it just to clean it.

Glass is also best to store water. For cleaning clay pot just rub the inside part with soft hands and change the water nothing more to do. And never use detergent to clean.
