Agreed. Sometimes it takes time to develop it. Others, it takes being shot at and seeing people fall around you. In any case, I won't be driving unsafely again anytime soon...
Ah, for me, I realised my own mortality when I brought another life into the world and I understood that in days gone by, we could have both not made it.
