If today would be your last on earth, would you be proud to watch how you lived when your whole life flashes right before you? Will there be things you wish you did or said differently? People you wish you had been more kind to? things you wish you had said? Things you wish you had done and others you wish you had not said or done? Would there be people you wish you had loved and created memories with?
Would you be proud of the person you were and things you achieved before your final moments?.
For many there are a hundred years, others 50 years left but for some, there is only this moment. For some there is only today left.
You see, we only have this moment because this life could be take be taken from us in a split second so nothing in it is guaranteed. Rather than being afraid of dying it's better to be afraid of dying an "unfulfilled" person. We all pray to God saying "I don't want to die" forgetting that to man is mortality and people die everyday and most of them are more righteous, most of them prayed more than you do.
So why don't you pick up your phone, make that call now. Why not say sorry to that person you might have wronged right now, why not tell that person how much you love them and how much they mean to you. Why don't you work now to achieve those goals you set for yourself a long time ago. Remember, only this moment is guaranteed, you can never tell what will happen in the next minute, so now is your only chance and the deal is You Only Live Once, make this moment count.
