This is one of those very controversial issues that will never have a unified answer, no matter how you look at it. Yes, having the right to use assisted suicide for terminal illnesses such as cancer might be worth it, but if it is a choice for those who are clinically depressed for long periods of time, it might not be for the best. What happens if those people choose this method, and are just going through a rough patch and have the ability to feel better within a few months? There are so many varying opinions on the issue, and I can see it possible to consider all sides. This was a really thought provoking post!
