On many occasions we ask ourselves: why me? Why does this have to happen to me? everything would be different if I were this or that person, if I had more money, if I had that car, such a house, among other things without realizing that we really have it ALL and we are not aware.
We begin to feel victims of the circumstances, of the time, of the people that surround us of what they make us feel (we think so); without knowing that what we feel is because we ourselves are responsible for it (anger, anger, joy, sadness)
We believe in a false "pride" that does not allow us to see beyond what we want to achieve, we have a wrong idea of ourselves that prevents us from having the success we want; we think that because so-and-so has money they are better than us and we do not even dare to address them, we believe in a wrong mentality that does not allow us to move towards what we want.
When we discover that "I want" and "I can" depends only on us, we begin to appreciate different things, we begin to achieve our purposes, our goals and we are already removed from the role of "victim".
The goal achieved makes us see that we can do everything we set out to do and that we can be in the place we dream of. We focus so much on achieving our goals that we forget the role we have been playing for many years, it all depends on our mentality, the way we see things and have a positive attitude towards life.
We are not "victims", we feel we are. From the circumstances of life, we believe that "everything goes through something" and that "something" as it came is going to go alone and we do nothing to change it. "Everything depends on the glass with which things are seen" ... this phrase reminds me that, me and only me, I am the one who can and should see the best for me, to achieve what I want.
This example can fit perfectly:
"Two twin brothers were raised by a drunken father. One of them became an alcoholic, when they asked him what happened? He replied: "My father gave me a bad example ..." The other child grew and never drank in his life. When asked why, he replied: "My father gave me a lousy model to follow ..." Two children, the same father, two different points of view.
Kirk Franklin - You always have a choice: be a victim or be a survivor.
So you decide ... to continue in your role as a victim or to be a survivor, keep in mind that "things do not go through something", they happen because we attract them or they just do not have any logic.
But it is up to us to give them the place they deserve, the role they are going to play in our lives ... not just take the good to feel better, see things objectively and find the right use for us.
Be a survivor of the circumstances of our daily life, focus on yourself, acknowledge yourself as a wonderful being that you can achieve EVERYTHING you propose in life ... be yourself.
Do not change to please others, accept your faults and love them; Accept yourself as is, in you is recognizing yourself with your imperfections and virtues. Surround yourself with happy and optimistic people, avoid the bitter and frustrated with their lives because they will end up infecting your negativism.
You are the only one who decides, the one who can achieve a significant change, without giving account to anyone. Life is wonderful if we see it from the objective and truthful point of view ... always
Because good or bad and despite everything ... life is beautiful
Well said. Everyone should own his mind and emotions. Thanks for sharing.
