Do you have one of those days,where you sit on the couch and just feel like giving up?You think that years are passing by and you still haven’t done anything great so far?That you ll just continue to live a moder life?
Well...get rid of these thoughs.
I ll give you an example.
Go jogging
Yeah don’t laugh. Go jogging
Begin with a slow pace. Do not attempt to do new record. Simply run. Try to ignore the voice inside you that says you can’t do it.It’s already been five minutes...after ten and you are still running.
And then this voice comes in your head and starts pushing you to quit.
-Come on enough with the running...you can come tomorrow too
You just keep running.After a while you start feeling tired and that little voice visits you again.
—Wow three kilometers with the first try. Not bad, considering that you haven’t left your couch the last 5 years. You should be proud!
Do not stop though. Continue to run. The voices inside your head will now become more persistent:
-Who are you trying to impress?There is no one here to see. Don’t be an idiot!Don’t you see you are pushing yourself?
And then you start thinking...
-I cannot, I am tired!
You are out of breath.Your muscles hurt.
DONT STOP!
-Look at you!A sweat clown who has lost its color and is ready to collapse.Everyone who is looking is laughing at you
But you keep on running
And suddenly running becomes easier
And your will comes back,and so does the little voice inside your head.
-Well done you did it!You beat me. Now let’s go see a film!
Continue to run.
This voice will be keep spinning on your mind. It will do everything to direct you away from your objective and to make you feel bad but in the end it will remain silent. You will have many temptations to stop,to quit your efforts. You are more powerful than those voices. At the end you will see that you just simply run - nothing more, nothing less.even if your whole body is ready to collapse you just run.
And all of a sudden the voice is gone
And you keep finding the energy to run. And start feeling better and better
This applies not only to the jogging. Each time you feel that you can’t handle a situation , each time someone underestimates you, you just keep working and fighting to let these voices behind you.Train. In relations, work…
TO BECOME BETTER,YOU NEED TO BECOME RUTHLESS. RUTHLESS TOWARD YOURSELF!
