A dear friend occasionally reminds me of the quote, "Perfection is the enemy of progress." Similar to your teacher's statement, "Better done than perfect," it reminds me that I could spend forever on a task, seeking perfection. Or, I could consider it done and move on. Finding peace in deciding "it's good enough" and moving on to other endeavors feels freeing, as long as you really do feel it's good enough ;)
