- Apply the right sunscreen. ...
- Understand your tanning time. ...
- Seek some shade. ...
- Swap 'tan-accelerating' creams for supplements. ...
- Eat sun-friendly foods. ...
- Faux your glow.
Vacation time
Here is the vacation time around the sea, the sun, the beach, it remains only to get a good tan, but how to properly sunbathe to avoid problems? To look fashionable, stylish and beautiful, find out how to properly sunbathe in the sun, on the beach, on the sea.
Theme, how to properly sunbathe in the sun, the sea, the beach, is relevant today for both men and women. Unfortunately, the atmosphere now misses much more ultraviolet than ten or twenty years ago, and sunbathing properly means, at the very least, to protect yourself from serious burns and skin restoration problems. Secondly, Russians began to travel more abroad, to hot countries, to the sea, where the sun bakes is not an example to ours, and it can be burned even faster - this is a lost vacation and money.
How to properly sunbathe in the sun, the sea, the beach, to get a smooth beautiful tan and keep skin healthy - our today's conversation.
Secrets of the right tan in the sun
- Tanning time
Sunbathe in the hours when the sun is least active - the right decision. And this does not mean that you will get a less beautiful tan, on the contrary, it will be smooth and beautiful. Take for a rule to take sun baths in the morning, until the sun has not entered the zenith, about 10-11 hours, and after 16. And, even if you are under the sun at the specified time, lie on the sea or a river beach for a total of more than two hours Per day is harmful to the body. And sunbathing with 12 to 15 in general is contraindicated in connection with a sharp increase in harmful radiation, after which there may be complications on the skin.
Suntan cream.
Proper sunburn in the sun requires mandatory use of cream with protection from ultraviolet radiation. For dark skin, you can take a cream with a level of 20-30, for light it needs more, 40. The levels of protection are indicated by the SPF and PPD. However, SPF protects only from ultraviolet (from burns). To everyone who wants to properly sunbathe in the sun, arabio.ru recommends finding a cream with the abbreviation PPD - they prevent aging of the skin and reduce the risk of developing cancer. Unfortunately, in most shops only SPF creams are offered, so do not be lazy to go around a few outlets or order online with PPD, reducing all the risks of communicating with the scorching sun to a minimum.
Choosing the right place
The question of the right tan in the sun in hot countries is especially important. Hiding under a straw umbrella, people think that they protected themselves from the sun. I assure you, this is not so - I personally sunbathing successfully in Thailand, lying on a deckchair in general under the roof, without direct sun exposure. Therefore, on the first or second day of arrival, if you want to sunbathe in the sun correctly, try not to sunbathe in the direct open sun at all, and spend the sun in the hotel room or lobby.
Do not forget that you need to protect your hair from the sun - a hat, a panama, a scarf or a cap made of cotton loose fabric - an excellent choice. Eyes hide behind the glasses of sunglasses, even just going for a walk without the intention of lying on the beach.
The important thing - you want to sunbathe properly in the sun, the beach, the sea, give up books and magazines - reading them, we get carried away and often miss the moment when it's time to stop taking tan. Especially do not sleep. Do not go to the beach immediately after eating - it will thaw out. Do not drink cold drinks, give them a little heat. Alcohol and sunburn are also incompatible, since alcohol blocks the sensitivity of the skin.
How to properly sunbathe in the sun - ask the skin
Want to know how to properly sunbathe in the sun, ask your skin - it's your best adviser. Cosmetologists divided us into types, depending on the degree of protection required.
- 1st type
You have blonde hair and blue or green eyes; Or you are the owner of red hair and dairy skin. The time of continuous tanning is half an hour. - 2nd type
Blonde or red, eye color - brown or gray. The continuous tanning time is 45 minutes. - 3rd type
Chestnut or dark-brown hair, rather light skin. Time of continuous sunburn - 1 hour. - 4th type
Dark hair, eyes, and also a swarthy complexion. Such people can continuously sunbathe for an hour and a half.
WARNING! These time intervals are indicated for the average solar activity force - until 12 pm and after 16 pm. From 12 to 16, the time of continuous tanning should be reduced by one and a half times.
If you plan to sunbathe in the sun for a long time, spread well the places that burn most often. Remember that any cream works effectively for a maximum of 3-4 hours, and if you bathe, especially in sea water, then about an hour. Try to use in the sun special shampoos that protect hair from the effects of ultraviolet radiation.
I hope that these good tips teach you how to properly sunbathe in the sun, and your tan will be magnificent.
BONUS inside about how to heal your Solar Plexus Chakra
Healing the solar plexus chakra is a simple process, but it may take some practice. Most people have built up a blockage over many years, so chakra balancing will take time. There are some solar plexus chakra healing exercises that are easy to practice every day.
The chakra color associated with Manipura is yellow, which means that bananas, sunflower seeds, yellow peppers and cheeses are good solar plexus chakra healing food. Spices for the solar plexus chakra are ginger, chamomile, mint, and cumin.
Meditation can help with opening Manipura. A simple exercise is to simply envision a brilliant yellow sunflower over your solar plexus chakra. This can be even more effective with the use of chakra stones. Solar plexus chakra healing stones include yellow stones like citrine, amber, yellow tourmaline and tiger’s eye.Aromatherapy can also be helpful for Manipura chakra healing. It can be used while meditating or doing yoga, or by itself at any time. Citrusy essential oils like orange and grapefruit are good for healing the solar plexus chakra, as are chamomile, mint and ginger.
Regular yoga practice is ideal for chakra balancing. Asanas that focus on core strength are perfect for Manipura healing. Warrior Pose is the easiest yoga asana for opening Manipura. Holding it for a few minutes every morning will begin to open your solar plexus. Other helpful asanas are Boat Pose (Navasana), which strengthens the core, and Sun Salutations (Surya Namaskar). Engaging in structured risk-taking during your yoga practice, like doing a challenging pose or gently pushing yourself a bit more, can also help balance Manipura.
Finally, since the solar plexus chakra is associated with the sun and fire, simply getting outside can help. Meditating or doing yoga outdoors on sunny days will maximize your healing practice, but simply going outside for a walk or doing a little sunbathing will help open your solar plexus chakra.

According to Tim Ferriss, it only takes 15 minutes of sun exposure to get a melanin reaction and anything more than this is harmful. He calls 15 minutes the minimum effective dose - all that is required for the intended effect.

Thanks for the post. In Australia having a tan is not that attractive anymore like it used to be. We have a lot fo skin cancer here due to the strong sun so the current trend is to cover yourself up as much as you can. Even when you go swimming or lying on the beach it is very common now to wear a tshirts to minimise the exposer to the sun.
