RE: On your next African Safari.

True. I know of this people. You know i come from Uganda, the North Eastern Part of Uganda, that is, and i live near the Karimojong, people similar to the masai.

Meeting them, despite their traditional ways, can be a very unique experience. I have met them several times.

Are you from Kenya, @tony19r? I am from Uganda. And i am glad to meet a fellow East African

Meanwhile, i curate for the @asapers, a group that supports newbies like you and me. I'd wish that you consider joining us. @asapers publishes a daily post featuring select posts. This way, it gives a slot of exposure to otherwise hidden and undervalued posts. And you could stand a chance of being selected once in a while.

It can be a great place for you to meet new friends, and also expose quality works. Here is a link to the discord channel. https://discord.gg/xnAEyGX

If you join, we can meet up then.

Hi @mirrors, Thanks for the upvote and yes I'am a fellow East African from Kenya. This is my second week as a steemian so am still at the learning phase as to how the platform work and the different terminologies and sites linked to steemit but am slowly getting there . I accept your invite and hope to meet up .

I see you have already responded to the invite. Things should slowly get better. They will, i can promise you that. I am also just 2 weeks old, but you can see for your self, and i am proud to say this, i have done relatively well for myself.

That is because i followed some path i was led toward by some wonderful steemian, called @simplymike. It is toward that same path, i have called you, and i can promise, it worked, for me, it will work for you.

Speaking of @simplymike, You will get to meet her, and many others in the discord. Just make sure to hang on in there.

It may not be so exciting as you start, but slowly it will. You just have to hang on, Post quality stuff, comment and comment, (commenting does wonders, an by experience, for someone who is starting, my advice is, the commenting-posting rate should be about 10:1! lol, just my guess) and interact with others in the discord

Overall, Persistence and hard work have a way of opening doors! Glad to meet you, again.

EDIT - If you know of any East Africans, do lead them around. You never know we could unite into something special!!!

Hi @mirrors I will check to see if i can find you some East African recruits when i came across some. Let me know how best to use the ASAPers channel on discord

True, bring those you find. We could build something strong that unites us around here. I am excited.

Make sure to contact me pronto, in the comments of my posts or in the discord, if you have any need for help. I will gladly avail, or recommend someone better.

For now, just keep posting quality works. If you do, things will get better. Make use of the promotion channel in the disocord, and drop in your posts there.

Equally important, besides posting your own works, get time and visit other people's blogs.

Make sure to leave valuable comments. I have found that to be a very effective way of making friends, and drawing people to your blog.

Cheers @tony19r...

I am following you now.
