In this post I have compiled and compared many images of nature with that of our body, so that everyone can visualize that life is something more than chemical reactions locked in a cellular environment that tends to be maintained.
When we believe that we are alive, we should really think that it is the universe that is alive, the individual life is only a part of a whole that we can not understand.
We are only a part of the whole that looks at itself when it turns around.
We are part of the universe. We are made of the same thing as the near and far environment.
The dust that forms stars also forms our brains. The iron that circulates in our blood was formed in an ancient distant star.
Life is a property of the universe and the tendency to form complex agglutinates has brought us here.
It is not possible to talk about life without talking about the universe itself as the main actor.
Perhaps our universe exists to give rise to life, perhaps life aims to transform the universe.
No one knows where life comes from. We do not understand well what it is. But we can follow the trail and find its origins in those of our universe.
At the risk of appearing naive and simplistic, we believe that we have before us the basic law of the universe: creating complexity until we reach life with entities that create themselves, self-sustain and reproduce.
Life is a continuous kneading where figurines can stand and even think about thinking, they turn to the firmament and marvel, without thinking that it is the same mass what they see, traveling without knowing they are passengers.
