The house elf and her assistants decided to build a gingerbread house for the grandchildren.
Mission accomplished in just a few hours with loads of icing and sweets stuck everywhere then!
Disaster! The roof slid off? This is the risk we take when building using icing sugar as mortar.
The good news is that it was scoffed pretty quick and the memory of the fiasco...forgotten.
Have a lovely weekend. What Christmas fiascos did you have, if any?
What an adorable little house!
Can you believe I have never made one of these? The kits were not so popular when my kids were little. I have been eyeing them for a future Christmas project though. :D
That sounds like a plan in the making Debra. Just be extra careful to apply lots of icing to hold it together. Alternatively hire an elf to build it for you.
There are many elves with reasonable rates online these days lol
made a dream house by a great artist
The house elf is very talented but very shy too!
A labor of love. Now just a memory.
There the best kind, don't ya think?
that would not last long for me...yummy
All those hours of work by the house elf and it was gone in a flash! Such is the life of the house elf. Work, work, work, joy!

Hot glue! lol It's supposed to be eaten. Dooh!
That's an awesome house! Such a shame the roof slid off... too much snow perhaps? ;)
I suspect foul play, as it was immediately devoured by all. :)
