The girl who quit smoking, quit soda, and switched to organic food all in one day

in #life7 years ago

So, two weeks I quit smoking, quit drinking soda (I would drink 6-12 cans a day), and went organic for 4 days (I would've gone organic permanently but that stuff is expensive lol) all on the same day.

I smoked some (legal) weed every time I was craving a cigarette, drank iced tea every time I wanted a soda, and made myself a fruit smoothie every time I wanted something sweet to eat.

and you know what?
It was super easy! I've had more cravings for smokes since I went back to non-organic food but I'm still soda free and smoke free (13 days so far!)!

I've also successfully taken out all of the plastic bowls/cups out of my house and replaced them all with earthenware and glass!

Korean Beef and rice in my brand new bowls!

Next step is to figure out how to get more organic food into my house without breaking the bank lol

2 weeks without smoking, good job! the worst is behind you now!

I have never seen a social media platform like this one. It's so fascinating and you can't stop talking about it once you get into it @momerathalice

Keeping moving forward you can do it 💪 Just give you up vote

Woot!!! Way to go!!!:-)

Keep moving forward!! You got this!!!

Organic farming would be nice if it was at all sustainable for humankind. I haven't developed this thought much but to me it might be hypocritical to eat organic because it creates the maxim which states that the 90%? Of the worlds population who do not have access to this type of agricultural produce should aim to get it, but if they did the world food production would fail.
Anyways, growing your own food and exchanging subsistence with others is probably the only way to ensure organic... people cheat.

Well done you. I think some people need to make gradual changes but some people just do better if they make massive changes all at once.
