Whenever the future seems uncertain and things in the present seems to be different from what I dreamed of, I only think of one thing to give me peace. And that is :
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
