On 9 August 2016 a friend of mine, mother of two had a normal day. She is a stay at home mom trying to make an income from painting characters on polysterine for kids rooms, doctors rooms etc. She has a little boy and an older girl which she absolutely adores!
Later that afternoon she started cooking supper in her kitchen like any other normal day. But this would turn out to be a horrible day and awful experience. A day she would rather forget……
While carrying a pot of boiling hot water from the stove to the sink to drain some of the water, she tripped and the water went all over her face, chest, on both her arms as well as her right leg. And this is the result…..
Accidents happen so fast and I would like to remind everyone to stay safe in the kitchen to avoid something similar happening to you.
SAFETY TIP
Keep children out of the kitchen while you are cooking!
She has severe burns and will need some skin graphs, this was truly a horrible experience for her as well as her children but she is home now and trying to recover from the ordeal.
Ahhh i know it really hurts. Youre right @mrgrey, accidents do happen sometimes, we just need to have extra careful.

Ouch! That really looks painful, I can't imagine the pain she must have been in. Hope she recovers fully, emotionally that is because the scars will be for life......
That is awful. Burns are so painful.
