Nourish, Nurture and Be Consistent

Sometimes we should close the door to life's busyness with all its routines and just take a breath, relax and take the journey inside of us, to reconnect with the whole of who we are. This is part of the journey of nourishing and nurturing self.

What do you do to kickstart your day?

How we begin the day can deeply affect how we flow into the remainder of our day.

Before we step outside to begin taking care of the business of the world. Our first priority should be giving quality time to our self. To begin the day with proper breathing, good deep breaths, as oppose to the shallow breathing we do all day because we are not conscious of our breathing habits when our focus is on external things.


Nourishing and nurturing our bodies plays a major role in us shifting from striving to do more, to us focusing on being more and doing less .

When we are undernourished it throws us off our game. And we react when maybe we should just let it go or we overact when much less energy can be used to deal with a given situation.
Being undernourished may also lead to problems focusing and we may struggle to find clarity, to make good decisions, or to finish what we start.
When our body has proper nutrients, we are sharper mentally.

And if periodically throughout the day we allow for movement and exercise we will have more physical stamina.


And don’t burn the candle at both ends, or over extend yourself. Learn to press pause and take a break.

*“We must connect and flow within the rhythm of life, which includes being sometimes up and sometimes down, yet if we are wise we will always remain connected to our center our core and take refuge there. This place within us serves as our sanctuary, our true north. To stay balanced we must find our serenity in the eye of the storm.

And as we continue to nurture self we will have the energy we need to stay in harmony with the world around us. And regardless of what happens outside of us we will stay strong while creating the successful dream life we want.

Maintain a Lifestyle of Consistency

Have a clear plan so that what you start you will finish.
Make it a habit not to rush into things blindly, but think about what you want to do first, contemplate all angles and then decide on the best choices possible and then act on that choice. Say what you mean, and live by your words, especially those involving keeping promises. Our word is still our bond. Also we can maintain consistency when we live life in the moment.

Make it a rule of thumb to live a life of order, sidestepping bad choices that result in chaos. Never stray away from your overall priorities regardless of what life throws at you.

Create for yourself a road map, a life plan to stay on course. Make it a priority and be consistent in every area of your life. Make it your masterplan, after all mastery defines not only your uniqueness but the quality of the work you do.

Do you mean we should close the steemit window from time to time? Just kidding :) I started doing tai chi again after a 7+ month break and it is helping me reground. It is a lot of work to reground after taking time off but well worth it!
