Sweet Day — Hive

Friends sometimes think of the darnedest gifts and we love them for remembering our birthday.

After a two month hectic and not exactly a vacation, I came back to the office to find an expected load of paperwork waiting for me. Nobody bothered me and I was able to clear a fair bit of pending documents.

At about 3.00pm, there was a knock at the door and in came the department colleagues bearing birthday gifts and four birthday cakes! They all knew that I hate blowing candles and Birthday song. The whole shebang was to embarrass me.

Anyways, I love them for it especially as I had totally forgotten that I was officially another year older.
