Who are the "MILLENNIALS" and discover WHY they are a UNIQUE generation.

"Millennials do not want to work"

There is a lot of talk about this generation: just write "millennials" on Google so that suggestions like "they are lazies / don't want to get married / have children" appear.

First we have to put ourselves in context, what is a Millennial?

*Briefly defined as those born in the years between the 80's and the 2000's lived the turn of the millennium, also integrating a new digital generation, hyperconnected and with high social and ethical values. All this and more makes them different from past generations.

Fact: Some of the most common characteristics of the "Millennial" are disinterest in TV, little intervention, disinterest in having a car, singles without children, do not buy something unless it is by preference. Do you know any millennial?

But, why these "MILLENNIALS" are called unique?

The millennials, due to the exorbitant migrations that have been occurring in this generation, could be said that this is the most diverse at cultural level; this generation has been changing each and every one of the cultural aspects and trends that the world had had, from not being interested in television, to their disinterest in having a car.

In itself, this generation does not even have a definite purchase habit or trend, even the patterns are very diverse given these multicultural features.

But does this make them the worst generation? Don't!

There has been a lot of talk about this generation; it is enough to write "millennials" in Google so that suferences appear like "they are lazies / don't want to get married / have children".

The intercommunal media around the world tell everything that this generation is leaving behind, criticisms that reach the point of becoming almost a parody of themselves!

Let's talk about entrepreneurs!

Among all the changes in daily life and generational culture affected sectors that seemed very solid, such as the economy. According to Rick Rieder, head of global BlackRock investments, the so-called millennials are beginning to take a more active stance towards consumption through the collaborative economy: they prefer to rent to live with their parents until they can buy a house, they renounce the payment of a car and they use Uber.

Goldman Sachs conducted a study that supports this idea based on a paradigm shift of millennials: they are not interested in being owners, but in being able to access.

Currently, some media advocate that young people not only want to get university degrees and a stable job: many become entrepreneurs with innovative ideas, even awarded.

Studies show that millennials want the best of both worlds: independent flexibility with full-time stability. The millennial is not willing to do anything to keep a job, he prefers a temporary job to take vacations or does not want to work in a multinational because he chooses to create his own business.

Now, yes, how many times do you think the word "Millennial" was written?

nice post!

I'm a millennial myself, but I think it is not fair to say that we are the only unique generations. (not to point out that you do say it this way, tho)

each generation, IMO, have their own differences and as little as the differences go, having some of it still makes them unique.

As all human have their idiosyncrasies, so do generations. It is a context of summing people up, after all.

again, great post. cheers mateeee

Cheeeers, dudeee! I think this is the most unique generation because more than the diversity of culture and that, is that everyone have an idiology different, they are more extravagant in the ambit of take choices, they dare to give one step on an different way and it's not a problem at all! They do not mind being different, and taking society into account; with prejudice can really destroy a person.

Thaaanks for reading me, see your later! ^^
