ALIS does look interesting, I'll try to register for the beta.
It would be nice for more Japanese activity on Steemit but I think there needs to be a solid Japanese language UI, nearly all of the Japanese Steemit users I've met can speak English well, someone that can't will have a difficult time using the platform. I suppose I'll experience that if I get in on the ALIS beta!
I also wish for the success of ALIS in Japan. A lot of Steemit members also registered to ALIS. ALIS members will also register with Steemit.It is necessary to make Steemit a fun platform to continue. People will stay at Steemit if that can be done.
The Steemit UI can be done, there are Korean, Chinese, Russian and other languages already available. I've registered at ALIS, so hopefully I'll be able to see what it is like at the end of the month!
