I've read as well as seen a few videos that talks about people with and without lots of friends. They all point towards intelligence being the key factor. Intelligent people in short only have a few friends, the'r not compelled to have 10,000 FB followers and don't care to hear about a lot of useless stuff. They keep only a few close friends and prefer living in less crowed areas. Lower intelligent people need to live in densely populated areas and have tons of friends. Anyhow, not sure how accurate it is but I found it to be interesting,
