Hi, I'm not sure I understand what you mean. But, yes, love as a concept doesn't mean anything. It has to be experienced and lived. And comparing our experience to someone else's concept is often a recipe for suffering. At the same time, if your experience of love is vastly different than the experience I describe, then it can help you to see that what you are experiencing is not love. And that can act as a catalyst to get you to examine what you are thinking and feeling.
