Our color shouldn't define our treatment
Our race is so magical and i will like us to believe it is a manifestation of God's greatness.
Who thinks that the pigment of our skin is an issue
Do you think our ancestors will like the colorism that exist among us
We always have a mindset that lighter is better and dark skin is not suitable and vice versa
Our minds think less of ourselves because we have different colors and features. example:hair
BUT THIS IS THE FACT............
We are carved by the same hands, and of the same beauty
Without one the other can't exist
Light skinned, dark skinned doesn't matter
Its the love that exist among us that matters
For me i love my color
I love that am black
I love that my friends are white, dark and brown
We are one
Our color shouldn't define us
Thanks for reading, i hope you enjoy it

Even here in the philippines where most people are brown having dark skin is frowned upon. Celebrities and media will feed us whitening products. But I have come to love my brown skin. It tells my heritage and my roots. Plus it means I have the luxury to keep going to the beach!!
Stay beautiful and confident!! Flaunt that beauty!!

Great post @naijaberry. You are right with this,
Our color or race should never be an issue and would never tell how we should be treated. We are alike, brothers and sisters wonderfully created by our only Father above.
Thank you so much for your comment @ayingroxie 🙂
