Meet Zander, the Mastiff-Shepherd mix! I rescued him as a puppy and he’s now 2 & 1/2. He has a ton of energy and is a total handful but he’s got a huge heart. I love this guy for our family.

Humans hear from a range of 20hz to 20,000hz, while dogs hear from 40hz to 60,000hz.

Wouldn't that make their hearing 3x more keen than ours?

Also, dogs have 18 muscles in their ears allowing them to direct them towards sound.

Another cool fact: Dogs have a far more superior sense of smell than humans. They have a whopping 300 million olfactory receptors (responsible for the detection of odarants) in comparison to humans' 6 million.
