Welcome everyone!

My name is Navid and Im the founder of Simran Meditation.
(More information about me and SM at the end of this post)

I will here present a series of guided meditations and playful explorations of life/reality.
The goal of this exercises is to increase our ability to see life with clarity. In some cases, for those who have the genuine curiosity and intent, we will increase this clarity to a level where we can recognise the source of existence directly.

What this kind of meditative investigation reveals, is for many both rewarding and challenging.
The rewards vary from each individual of course, but some common side effects are deeper body relaxation, peace of mind, more sense of connectedness/intimacy and feeling more playful and free.
The challenging parts comes in when we find that we have emotional attachments to some of our beliefs.
To drop, or to just see through, a deeply held belief can in some cases initially be both scary and painful.

That which ultimately might be revealed with these kind of explorations, is beyond words to describe, beyond thoughts to comprehend and beyond memory to contain. It does not give you as a person more power, sex, gold or cryptocoins.
Yet if I could chose to give Anything to those who I love, it would be to see that which this journey reveals.
– And if you do explore this fully, you will know exactly what I mean ;)

So if you feel inclined and sincerely curious to explore in this way, I suggest you to go ahead and try out the first part. (https://steemit.com/life/@navidzar/atheist-guide-to-shiva-step-1-direct-experience)

About The Author:
My name is Navid and have apparently completed 35 rounds around the sun.
At the time of writing this, I work occasionally as an Graphic designer / Art director for a couple of Swedish companies. The other part of my productive time, I spend with teaching meditation classes and doing guided 1-on-1 meditations/explorations and self inquiry sessions.

About The Meditations:
The kind of meditations that I guide people through are very short, simple and direct. They don't require any kind of belief system, experiences or any specific understanding. This very direct approach makes these meditations much more available for people with more western/modern/atheistic world views.
What they do require though is some genuine curiosity and intention. Meaning that this kind of very essential exploration of our experience, does require you to actually give it your full attention and to be sincere about your underlying intentions.
You can find more information, contact information and reviews here: https://www.facebook.com/Simranmeditation/.

This specific approach to meditation/exploration is sometimes referred to as Non-duality in literature, and is greatly inspired by the Advaita Vedanta teachings of ancient India. Along with these posts, I will link and refer to several other sources and teachers.
