Recently, I have been doing an observation, trying to figure out the reason behind domestic violence cases at courts. Through my regular visits at most court sessions in my city, I have made an obsevation and discovered that assault charges dominate the court session more than any other crime.
And when I observed, the assault crimes in terms of domestic violence, my results showed that 3/4 of them are a result of issues to do with sexual matters.
Husbands and wifes, boyfriends and girfriends are at war because of 'Sex".
One man was arrested and during the mitigation time in court, he was asked why he has asaulted his wife fun the answer it may be, he actually gave a serious face and explained himself.
"Your worship, my wife was demanding that I make love to her, she kept nagging and nagging me that it became so annoying, I explained to her that i ws tired but i guess she did not listen that is why I assaulted her"
On a similar case but different scenerio, a man demanded sex the wife was not in the mood, and he assaulted her to the extend that the wife had to ran away back her father's house because she could not stand the abuse.
Fun it is right! People almost killing each other over sex but it is not a trival matter any more.
people are actually dying because of sex in the matrimonial homes.
Recently in Mutare, the was a murder case, where a man actually slit his wife's throat after returning to her after he run away with a mistress accusing his wife of cheating on him. A cold blood murder.
Lets resolve these sexual matter in the bed reasonably, without violence.
