It was such a sunny and bright day with the temperature above 10 degrees Celsius. Even though there's nothing going on in the garden, I still like to walk around here and enjoy the view especially when the weather is nice.
My niece and nephew got a lot of gifts and my niece asked me to help her with the puzzle, since I'm a big fan of puzzles, it was so much fun to do this one. Of course, we enjoyed a lot of good food yesterday and today.
I was happy to watch the sun setting after a long time as unfortunately I cannot watch from my apartment in the city and this is one of the things I miss the most. I was always grateful for this view from our home/garden but now I appreciate it even more. What a great day to end the first day of 2022.
Overall I am starting this year with a super chill, home vibes. It was nice to spend couple of days with my family, away from all the NYE city madness. I am going back to the city in a couple of hours but I will be back home on January 6th and stay for two days to celebrate Christmas with my family as well. During my blogging experience I already mentioned a few times that most people here in Serbia are Serbian Orthodox and our church uses a different calendar so holidays are not the same as Catholics. Our Christmas is on January 7th which means festivities are not over yet! We also celebrate 'Serbian New Year' which is on January 13th so yeah, we definitely have a full on holiday season that lasts longer than usual.
Have a great new year. Thank you for the info on serbian way to celebrate christmas. Didnt know that. And I really enjoyed your nature pictures.
Thank you so much, I am glad you found out something new from this post. :)
Wish you an amazing 2022.
Happy first new year!
