Yes, exactly. I told him what they would sell for here and snatched them to bring home with me. Same with glass juicers, lol, I have three.

So you're a closet hoarder, ah ha! Busted. 😂🤪
I operate this way...3 month-6 month-9 month rule. Everything is gone through at some point in that cycle. If something comes in, something equal must go out. Yet still, I feel the albatross of possessions, few as they are. I should have been a nomad, lol.

Sort:

Glass juicers. lol!

They are a mysterious breed, people don't even know they have them lurking in the drawers or cupboards and find them when searching for something else and go, huh, didn't know I had that

I don't think I could be a nomad, I lived out of a bag once when getting divorced and that was hellish!

Glass juicers. lol!

My mother was aghast at seeing me juice lemons by squeezing them in my meaty paws (part of my exercise routine) and kindly gave me them (not all at once).

huh, didn't know I had that

Too many times that's happened to me. Worse is thinking you don't have whatever it is, go buy it, only to come home and find it later.

That's not nomad life, that's torture life you're describing there. I might give this nomad life a try, speculating about that for a while (minus the divorce experience, ugh).

Yeah, divorce sucks ass!

I can picture the thought except I don't picture you with meaty paws!

Massively butt sucking, kind of going through a different kind of "divorce" (not from a person) the last couple years or so. These things drag on and on.

Wellllll...... picture a fairly meaty hand, but not like a man's hand and with shorter fingers. As I was told by a scuplture prof, "you can get your short little fingers right in there and fix that". 😂 I did squeeze citrus with my hands for years though and sometimes still do if I don't want to bring out the fancy glass thingies.

Hehe, it doesnt sound like you awill be playing piano any time soon if you have short fingers. I got told by a guitar tutor once that my fingers were too short to make me an ygood on guitar.

I fucking showed him alright! lol

You really hit a target with piano playing. I always, always wanted to play it and do know a bit, but alas the fingers, the short span....so I enjoy others who play instead. There's something about piano and a few other instruments that resonate deeply.

So you were told your fingers were too short to be good on guitar?! I bet you did show him, lol. I have trouble with some chords, but even so, I find with practice and tenacity, there's ways to adapt with guitar. Not so with piano, in my experience, lol.

Yeah, my first guitar tutor was this guy who smoked too much weed and had long snakey fingers. He jept trying to get me to play a scale which involved a couple of massive stretches which I couldn't do, then he wanted me to wrap my thumb of ver the fretboard and it couldn't reach. He was awfully dis[paraging.

The opposite of what a teacher should be!
