What makes people snap?
I have heard bizarre stories in the last couple of days and I'm left in serious shock of what is happening in our world today. People that are meant to love and protect themselves wind up killing each other. I saw a news of a man who shot his wife , daughter and finally himself. Why did he suddenly snap? The other is a man that killed his lover over her car, greed!. I mean you were in love! How can one possibly gather the momentum to kill a fellow human? how can he bear to see the person he shared good moments with in pain?
Is the world always this way?
Sometimes i feel like the world has always been this way, but no social media to spread the news. In as much as Social media has it's own pros, it is a great tool to expose the wickedness of man. The world we live! How aweful! I get that man's nature is wicked but i thik it is getting worse by the day. Probably God poured out a powder on earth that is messing with people's mind. I don't think there is any love left on earth anymore.

How do you know if your Partner is violent?
People say you will see the red flags, but i don't think that works anymore. People are getting really talented in concealing their true nature. My last partner was a serial cheat but i never had the slightest clue throughout the relationship until everything blew up on my face. It's like waking up to a new reality, like waking up and finding out that I'm no longer a woman, or Steemit is a ponzi scheme, you know.. And when i decided to move on, I realized a new reality, I saw a psychopath who can spend an entire day in verbal abuse, phew! Now, having someone like that, someone who is talented in concealing lies and deceit, how can you know if he is violent? What are the signs to look out for?
Your partner can make you or mar you..
This is 100% true! The person you chose to open your life to can destrooy you or build you up. And everybody seems to be crazy which scares the shit out of me.. Your partner can just snap and destroy everything you have worked for. What happened to Love and Tolerance? What happened to acceptance? I think they have gone on a long vacation and don't intend coing back, our hearts must have turned so black that they suddenly cannot live within us.. You can live with a person for 10 years and suddenly he snaps. We need help in this generation, I'm afraid the next generation will have nothing to wake up to. I grew up in a loving and a peaceful home and i want the same for my kids, so how can i know if my partner is prone to violent cos i seriously don't want to make the mistake of a lifetime.

One of my friends says that all healthy people should be locked away so they won't suffer ftom the crazy ones. There is just so much more crazy people than healthy individuals..

We human can fake our lives pretending to be someone we aren't. I remember vividly my cousin relationship with one guy like that....i admire them so much because the guy is everything a lady want in a man... They got married and things changed.....he cheat, abuse, and use her as his punching bag....they later separated.....
My dear we only need God to direct us while making choice of a life partner.....Because after marriage the real character will manifest.

I think sometimes it's because we started to change without realizing it, we started to hurt ourselves thinking it is not intentional when really if it is, the relationship becomes toxic and everything becomes routine, I think it is best to avoid reaching those extremes for the sake of both
You are right! I think those changes should be addressed once we see them. we shouldn't let even the slightest issue go unresolved..

This is an experience so many youths especially ladies face or have faced at one time in their life. I have had relationships with bad experiences, to a point where I had to pen them down..
I remembered, a time I had a boyfriend that hit me almost everytime for unreasonable issues, he even twisted my right thumb. It was abusive...
We just have to pray constantly for the best of partner...

A lot of people in today's world lack self control.... They flare up so easily and as a result they do things that theywill regret at the end of the day.. That's one main cause of the killing we hear of today... We need to learn how to control our temper no matter how far we are pushed... Thanks for this post.

Once i asked a friend what his greatest fear was , and he said 'getting married to the wrong partner'. Indeed your partner can make or mare you, but in all i believe we should let love lead.
Nowadays Love doesn't stop a violent partner.
In this regard if people could be so secretive, I think the only thing we need now is to be prayerful, the world is so wild
