Hey @scaredycatguide. That's quite an inspirational post. I, like many, admire you for freeing yourself from the shackles of a day job. It must have been stressful to do so. Definitely, it means hard work but in my experience, working for yourself comes with added drive and motivation; have you felt the same?
Perhaps writing about this experience alone would be of value to people. I'm often thinking of how I can monetize my skills to the point that I can at least reduce dependence on the corporate world... and how I'd feel about "making that jump".
I must confess that I didn't know about your 3rd property pickup in 2017. It's impressive. I take it you target positive cash flow as a priority? Are they geographically diversified to mitigate movements in local markets or impacts from local weather phenomena?
I wish you all the very best with the amazing work you've done. The SCG brand is a credit to you and it's obvious how much effort you put in; the radio show alone must consume a lot of your resources. I'm a big fan.
Resteeming to provide a little more well deserved exposure mate.
Much appreciated Man! Many hooks in the water to maximize odds are big success.
Yes, the energy you get from seeing something succeed that is your "baby" is something more difficult to find in the corporate world. I think it's the possibilities that really drives my motivation. There is no cap from a corp structure or hierarchy.
As of now everything is in Southern Fl. Its also why I havent grabbed anything else since February. I plan to diversify into the mid-west of the U.S. summer of 2018. Until then my focus is 100% crypto related.
Wishing you a prosperous 2018...especially with VW ;-)
