It's both in this case.
The world is bugging me today. I've failed more times than some have tried. That's what goes through my mind when I see stuff like that video.

I agree. I see it something like union action threats and I generally approach it as, Challenge accepted.
There should be a kill switch for accounts and when anyone says they are leaving, their account gets deactivated other than to move their wallet away - that way, there is no coming back and picking up the followers and autos :)
Dude is powering down and soon some of his leased SP is going bye-bye. I think there's more to the story than, "You all failed me, so I'm leaving, and it's your fault."
I don't see what's so fashionable about quitting. You've seen me stressed. I don't hide anything. I say I need a break. I take breaks. That's different than hitting the brakes. I just go POOF. No attention whoring. No bridges burned. It's my fault I need to go.
There was another individual who felt betrayed by this hardfork. Throws a big I'm leaving party. I suggested they take a break because then they at least have the option to come back once the smoke clears after the hardfork. No dice. Now if they want to come back, they have to eat their words. They said it's the SP holders who are greedy. So if people are getting some nice votes and end up earning more, and the one who left sees that, and wants to come back, who looks greedy?
With so much drama in the lbc it's kinda hard being snoop d o double g.
Yeah, there is often more to the story. Desperation is unbecoming.
This is the argument I have about the people who talk of how crap Steem is, but are happy to take payment for the crap they post. It is greed.
This HF may be another Steem grinder. Good. The beauty of this blockchain is that there are growing points for different interests, and people can earn on those too - and still be on Steem. More and more I see Steem as the investment layer and as it goes, there aren't a lot of investors in the world.
There's room for investors to grow. There's room for developers to grow. And like I've been saying, there's room for entertainment to grow. Get all these things working together, instead of against each other... holy shit.
