If they use that stake and delegations for onboarding, and many parties working together can speed up the process of account creation and approval, then it's okay. You're right about what you said. I hope it's not all about shooting themselves in the foot until they run out of bullets because most of us are sick of trying to point out the flaws while being right and ignored at the same time. Those arguments suck, and they take the eyes away from our work.

I hope they don't, nowadays I stay critical about everything they say/post, since their action has been contradicting their words. But I do hope Steem price goes up because I'm not planning to power down everything yet. I hope they don't make Steem bagholders feel like a loser in any case.
Their lives are over in this industry if they don't get it right. Reputation is more than just a number.
I like how these folks working on things like Steem Engine and Tribes operate. They do stuff, little by little, and announce completions. No hype, just results.
