RE: Lapping It Up and Agreeing: That's the Problem I'm Seeing

in #life2 years ago (edited)

People need to start clashing again, rather than going to their safe space to pretend they're fighting for an audience. Requires skill and patience. Very difficult to pull off though when everything needs to be a spectacle on social media; devolving into little games of one-upmanship.

Not shying away from things one doesn't normally like, would help. Facing it, questioning it, and having people around to communicate in a healthy manner.

Would be difficult to break current trends. Some days I think it needs to completely fall apart first, then be rebuilt from the ground up with lessons learned. That could take several decades.

Sort:

communicate in a healthy manner.

All genders busy peacocking for attention, the 'one-upmanship' you mention is what has happened, problem solving also does not happen around boardroom tables or ministerial cabinets shouting each other down. No one listens, thinks, questions before putting a reasonable answer to solving situations.

Current trend is everyone kowtowing to powers that be, totally repeated word verbatim through media for sheeple to follow like puppy dogs with tails wagging, or are they being wagged by the peacocks?
