They forgot to read the fine print. Some people here put money into that dump because a random dude on the internet showed up and told them what they wanted to hear. Not only the biggest no-no in crypto, but life in general.
So now they're over there scrambling to figure things out, and surprise surprise, threatening to pull their money out if they don't get their way, trying to call all the shots, as the rest of that community has to deal with their drama, most likely feeling like they're walking on eggshells.

So let's say there was a different system, deemed to be "fair", but it's not a downvote. Counters the same problems, and ends in the same result. Again, it's not a downvote, just a different system to handle abuse.
Apply that system to that dude. The argument is, in that situation, he would have accepted it with a smile, leaving happy, because the system was designed by a bunch of pseudointellectuals who've spent six years deliberating in comment sections so therefore it's flawless and fair.
