The FIFA World Cup 2018 is well under way and a lot of countries have seen action. Some results have been surprising until now, but what is more surprising is how football is able to unite us more.
During the year we all have our daily jobs and responsibilities that we go along with. Taking the kids to school, go to work you know the drill. Many of us are very busy and we do not have a prominent social life, or sometimes we do have one but it is not ongoing or steady. For whatever reason when there is a world cup match of our country or our favorite team we make sure that we watch the football match whatever time it may be. We often times call our friends and family over or we go to pub to watch the football matches regularly for about a month. Which makes me wonder what happened to our so called busy lives, before the competition we always seemed busy but suddenly we are able to meet our family and friends more often.
Some people even go with a whole group of acquaintances to a place to watch the matches only to find more people they know over there also watching the match. Suddenly, your team scores and there we go jumping up and down in joy and celebrating all together and happy, which doesn't seem to happen often enough the rest of the year or years. These are just examples on how the world cup unites us all in joy
I myself really love football and watch it all year around if possible, the world cup itself adds an extra emotion and joy to football that I really like.
