Hey fitness and travel lovers, it's me, Notyourgirl! <3
Today I will talk about negative thoughts and how to overcome them. An very important aspect on the point of happiness and self fulfillment.

Everyone has these days where every moment, every action and every thought feels totally negative. At one days it’s just a bit of sadness, at other days it feels like the world isn’t worth it.
But one thing to tell you right now:
Being not okay is not a kind of weakness but of reset. It’s totally okay to be not okay.
One thing I’ve learned from a very important person:
Of course there are these moments you just feel like crying but the most important thing is to first calm down and to not look at it emotionally. If you think about it if you’re full of negative thoughts and sadness nothing can be solved the way it needs to be. If you look at your problems rational and with distance they seem much smaller an unimportant.
Some TIPS how to calm down in emotional situations:
- Count from 10 to 1 while you’re counting slower and slower. After counting number 1 just close your eyes and breath in and out.
- Close your eyes. Close your fist and press it hardly together for a few seconds. After it you release the pressure and just feel the relaxation of your body.
(progressive muscle relaxation) - Write down some sentences which remind you of being calm and that life is beautiful and just read them out loud.
At the picture below you can read my sentences. Some of them in German:
A felt feeling is more valuable than your patchy memories.
Accept your decisions. They once were right for you.
Life is beautiful <3
Would you make this decision now if you could never turn it back again? )
The world is such a beautiful place. It’s not worth any kind of miserable feelings only if the moment seems negative and full of sadness. The world isn’t full of sadness, yours neither.
Go be happy, laugh, live, love, enjoy moments with persons you love, have fun with your friends. I definitely know that it’s easier to say so than to do so. But it’s your choice to at least try to be happy and you can work on this. It’s your life. You can decide which way to go and going the wrong way once doesn’t mean you can not turn back to your own right way.
Be happy!
As the truths of BUDDHISM tell us:
- Human life is full of dissatisfaction.
but 2. Dissatisfaction is build up by yourself.
and 3. We are able to see the reasons of dissatisfaction.
and even 4. There are means to fight dissatisfaction.
So as you see there’s always a way of becoming happy. And maybe you need help but that’s okay. Maybe you need a friend to help or you only like to write down your feelings, or just go for a walk, play an instrument, draw something, or simply having a good breakfast.
Just always remember: It’s possible to become happy.
As F. Schiller told us:
True optimists are not convinced that everything goes right but they believe that not everything can be wrong.
