Do you believe in Facebook Messenger? All the links coming to Facebook Messenger but not the convenience. Clicking on these links can ruin you. Important information including your ID-password can be stolen. The US Federal Investigation Agency (FBI) has warned that cyberbullying is sending deceptive links or scams to your messenger. Various strategies are taken to click on the video link in the messenger.
There is a link in the messenger's message, so when you click on it, you will go to a page that looks like Facebook login page. These pages control cyber miscreants. ID passwords are sought on this page. If you give new ID passwords, it goes to cybercriminals. Thus Facebook becomes hacked.
The FBI's Portland Office issued a warning. They say that danger can be caused by clicking on fake links in addition to messenger platforms as well as other messaging platforms.
A member of the FBI describes his personal experience and said that a friend sent a message to him so that there was a video link so that it was said, 'I saw you in the video. Yes?' This is why it is tempting to click on that video.
The FBI member said that he was skeptical of seeing the message in the messenger. He did not click on that link. The next day his friend said that his Facebook account was hacked. He warned to click on any link from that account. Because there is a computer virus.
The FBI warned, be careful before clicking on links from Facebook or any other close friend. Talk to him outside the app, know exactly what the link is. Do not click on any fake link if you do not have the actual message. If there is doubt about an account, please report it to Facebook on the account.
Better Business Bureau (BBB), a non-profit company in the United States, warned that the rise in frauds in Facebook messenger has increased. They got a lot of cheating trap in this platform. According to the BBC Online report, scammers are taking shelter in various strategies to gain access to money using messenger. In this case, they are misguiding friends, family or close relatives.
Bbb experts say scammers are now focusing on two issues. One is by fraudulently hacking an account with ID password and another is to create a similar profile by storing photos and personal information. Both cybercriminals try to send you reliable messages.
