It does show you: if you invest in a company that depends on the government's favor, you're opening yourself up to a nasty black-swan event. A needed lesson.

That's the truth too.. When you put your financial fate in shaky waters (gov-controlled ops) it's only a matter of time before they will change things to their own will. Good thing is though, in this case, it will actually benefit people as opposed to cost them.
Ultimately.. It's not clear what the future will hold for this, but I'm in the belief it was a good decision all-around. Might be a different agenda in place we haven't seen yet though. Time will tell. :)
