Last Saturday, I was deeply moved by a song that may be broadcast on the Eurovision 2018. (video below)
A contest was held on the French public TV so that the French audience can vote for which artist and song will participate to the Eurovision.
The story of the song is about Mercy. He is a baby who was born on a ship crossing the Mediterranean sea and who was rescued by an European rescue ship.
The artist group Monsieur Madame explained that the song emphasizes the humanist aspect of leaving war and being vulnerable during migration.

The song translates as (for the start):
I'm born this morning, my name is Mercy.
In the middle of the sea, between two countries.
It was a long journey, and mom took it,
She had me for 8-and-half months.
We left our house because of war,
She was right, we had nothing to loose except our lives.
I'm born this morning, my name is Mercy.
I've received a helping hand and I'm alive.
I'm all these children that the sea took.
I will live 100,000 years. My name is Mercy.
