Often seen in millions of CVs and Profiles: "i am a team player", but do all these people meant it? Many of us surely do not know what team work really means in the deepest sense of it, the mechanism and intricacies is what humans generally needs to understand. How an individual should contribute his or her quota to sustain and brew a team-force is the major concern here.
Arguably, few of humans understood what the word actually entails, in my little experience in the working industry i have seen no real team players except Decoys, who poses to be having the interest of the team at heart but self glory and fame is really their driving force. I will like to be illustrating what team work means........Something clearly only animals value and seems to understand better than humans.
TERMITES
This is a form of decentralized animal setting, it's a term i love to borrow from the Blockchain Phenomena. Here each member of the termite community had been born-engineered for a specific purpose. There is the Queen, the workers, the Builders and the Soldiers.
While in high school,i had a project to capture a termite queen and bring if for a practical class, seems pretty easy as it sounds like capturing a frog or a Spider until you have to try it; but my teacher knows back then it was an impossible task. The first challenge is breaking down a Termitarium; A muddy fortress, a castle built out of mud and spittle.
With a Sledge hammer and digger you could achieve this speedily, only if the particular one you find is not about 5-6 foot high, then your nightmare begins when the Army of Soldier termites lunch assaults on you left, side and forward. You are an enemy, an intruder so you at war with them. The spectacular thing back then was, the chain of command broke and both Soldiers and Workers/builders were lunching the attack. Every soul in the colony except the Queen fights and protect their beloved Queen and castle of mud!
ANTS
Ants seems arm-less from distance until you meet their cousins; the fire ants and the soldier ants. To achieve a task, every tiny soul sticks together. In floods and heavy downpours, Ants can forge a ball and float through any kind of water rising. Here, no discrimination of level and duties, they are a team who must survive till another day.
Like their close pals, The Termites; the ants have a queen, soldiers, female(future queen ants) and the male. With team work always in play, this little freaks of nature combines force to ambush animals millions times their size be it worker or fighters.
LION PRIDE
In a pride of Lion, team work puts meals on their table, no lone rangers. To kill a much larger prey; they form a semi-circle, the smaller and weaker ones push the prey towards the center of their formed semi-circle and then the stronger Lionesses knocks the prey down and make a kill bite.
Using this few animals Metaphorically,we can see the dynamics of a real team work, animals obey this simple rules more than us human. Hopefully we all could learn from the Termite, The Ants and Pride of Lion
One day humans will discover that teamwork is better, who would have thought
Very true my friend, thanks for reading through...
Personally, I'm a Lone Wolf!
