Unfortunately I would have been dead 3X over if not for medical intervention at the births of my kids, but other than that the freedom and trust you give your kids makes a lot of sense. I have always found discipline never made any sense to me. My children are generally so well behaved I am complimented on it. Yet I do nothing but trust them to be the people they are. If I had access to more of this information when I was younger, I could have provided even better childhoods for them, so thank you for this blog!

Yes hospitals can be beneficial for emergencies though with proper preparation and expertise even most emergencies can be handled naturally or without hospitals.
Of course everyone must do what one must and child birth is very intense.
I am grateful that you and the children are ok and living a happy and responsible life!
