Anybody can become angry - that is easy, but to be angry with the right person and to the right degree and at the right time and for the right purpose, and in the right way - that is not within everybody's power and is not easy. (Aristotle).
They say that harboring immense hatred and anger against someone is like taking poison and expecting the other person to die. Ultimately, your own anger punishes you while the other person probably doesn't even know that you are angry with them. As I noted in my previous write up, it is not about anger as it's about the way to go about it. Anger as a human emotion is not bad entirely, sometimes the right amount of anger at the right time and place could be what changes things for the best.
Anytime you get angry and stay angry, you are letting something else take charge of your happiness. Experiencing anger is inevitable, once we live with other people, someone is always bound to displease us every now and then. In dealing with anger, it's always advisable to trace the source of your anger. Many a times, people displace anger caused by one thing on another. Sometimes too, it's very likely that you are really angry at yourself for something you blame yourself for. What ever the reason may be, choosing to stay or not to stay angry is quite within your power. Identify the root cause, deal with it, get some closure if you have to and then move on as if it never happened.
