RE: State Takes Child from Parents Because They Refused to Allow Her to Become Transgender

in #life7 years ago

Children are very susceptible to outside influence and with more and more public schools telling younger and younger children about trans issues and drilling it into their heads, it's likely more will end up believing they themselves are in the wrong body.

Whereas it's true that young children tend to have some form of body dysmorphia, it's unethical to go along with and treat that dysmorphia with hormones. The majority of children ages between 4 and 9 with this issue and end up growing out of it. To do hormone replacement therapy at this age, it really stunts the child's natural body growth.

This is even more detrimental when it comes to males undergoing transition to become a female as this prevents the child's penis from growing, and if they don't end up growing out of the dysmorphia phase as most children do, then when they go for the sex change operation, they're in for a world of hurt because their penis is literally going to be too small due to stunted development from female hormones to be able to transition into female with female genitalia.

So my personal opinion, and the opinion of many doctors, the state is advocating for child abuse. I also don't agree with sending the child through religious classes to try and handle it either, a regular shrink would suffice.
